This is me in costume as the Patrick Troughton's second Doctor from the classic series of "Doctor Who," trying to recreate one of Troughton's more impressive frowns. This was taken at Gallifrey One this year, where my costume group got all ten of the Doctors together for a masquerade skit. We also got a "cosplay room" designated to us, which we were able to set up as a temporary photostudio at times. I got a few shots of me solo in this costume, which was quite nice. I may upload a group shot or two, or not. I haven't decided how much I want to bother you people with my cosplay yet, ahahaha.
Still, for a taste, check out this awesome manip that *alternatecoppa put together of us!

I actually want to dress up as the Second Doctor for a Science Fiction covention. I have a few questions: where did you get the clothes/red cloth? Wig or hairdye? I think I can get most of the stuff easily. except the pants/coat.
You can get a handkerchief almost anywhere. The one I got is actually a square cut out of a vintage Russian blanket though, ahahaha. And I am definitely wearing a wig. I'm sure some people can get their hair to look proper like that but for me it was much much easier to get and "style" a wig. I got my coat and trousers off eBay after many months of searching.
Hay I was at Gallifrey One this year. Sorry to say I recall seeing this costume. A shame. You look fantastic! Love the frown. I would poke my head into the cosplay room form time to time. Everybody looked like they were having so much fun.
I was wondering if the 2nd doctor in the 'Ten Doctors' skit was you! I didn't go to the con, but I've watched it several times and I always cheer when your doctor and Seven do your bit with the recorder and spoons.
Your second doctor, as ever, is awesome beyond words. You need to get yourself some companions for the next con!

I did get me a Zoe, actually. And a Jamie of sorts. (Frazer was there, of course, and I got a picture with him. And then I also had a Jamie costume! So I never was in the picture with Two, Jamie and Zoe, but I got Two and Frazer, Two and Zoe, and Jamie and Zoe.) I'd link you but my website is down currently, but this is one with Zoe that ~batfriend's wife took.
It certainly looks like it! I wish I had been there to see it in person, but there would've been no way... At least with the internet, I can watch it. And it was nicely put together, especially considering there were ten of you, and the mixed bag that is con skits. Some are good, some are okay, some are very hastily thrown together.
[is very jealous] okay, that's a cute Zoe. And you got to meet Frazer! Is he great with fans? I hear for the most part that he is. I hope you get your website up soon so I can see the pictures!
Erm, and can I also say that the Two clay figurine that you made was very very very cute? It ended up being sold at the con, right?

Thank you! We all learned our lines/blocking literally about two horus before the masquerade--though we did write up the script prior to the convention. Still, we were worried that it wouldn't come together. I'm so glad we did.
Frazer is lovely. I'd met him before, but it was great to see him again, especially since I didn't have to go to England this time! He is absolutely lovely and so personable. Okay, looks like my pictures are working again, so you can go here and see some more pictures. And yes, the Zoe was adorable.
And yes, Two sold at the con. I'm sad! If he hadn't I would have kept him! But I can always make another one...

And that is a pretty impressive Troughton face
