A pencil sketch colored up last night with some colored pencils (and a silver pen). A beautiful reverse roaning unicorn stallion with flame-like tail, mane and feathers. I call him Firestarter, but he's really unnamed. :)


Details: pencil sketch, colored pencil & silver sharpie on 8.5x11" computer paper. (The purple border has been added digitally.) Signed and dated by the artist in pen. SOLD.

Hades isn't evil, he's just a bit unlucky. The myth of Hades via disney isn't quite accurate. He's got a hard task that he takes seriously, which he got stuck with because his elder brothers drew the best lots.

Hades/Pluto was the Greek/Roman god of the underworld. In the legend the river that transports souls beyond the gates of death is alight with fire and the gates to deaths domain are guarded by a three headed dog.
